Helping the pups of Pristina, Kosovo

Every year, I draw a calendar to raise money for the stray dogs in Kosovo (where we lived from 2021-2024). I digitally hand-draw each image and all proceeds go toward feeding, fostering, and transporting dogs-in-need (hopefully to forever homes abroad!).

This year’s theme is “T-Swift ‘26.”

FAQs

  • Each calendar is $43 ($35 plus $8.00 shipping).

If you are local and do not require shipping, the total is $35.)

  • Absolutely! Quite simply, the more resources we have, the more dogs we can support. Every little bit helps in taking care of dogs in need.

(See payment options in the next “How do I order?” FAQ.)

  • To order, please email lina.patton@gmail.com with the subject line CALENDAR ORDER and include the following information:

***Calendars will ship from Washington, DC, by Dec. 29th. Thanks for your patience!***

  • Calendars shipped from Washington, DC are spiral-bound, letter-size (8.5 × 11 inches) wall calendars with a vertical layout: a full-bleed design or image on the top half and a monthly calendar grid on the bottom half.

Calendars printed and shipped in Kosovo are European A4 size (8.26 × 11.69 inches), printed on a single, continuous vertical sheet of 250 gsm paper, with a spiral binding at the top. Unlike some wall calendars, there is no center or middle spiral—the entire calendar is one piece, bound only at the top.

  • There are many sweet yet struggling dogs on the streets of Pristina. It can be heartbreaking to see so many in need of homes and desperate for affection, and we’ve worked hard over the past few years to help all we can. This includes:

    • spaying and neutering dogs

    • supporting abandoned puppies

    • taking wounded or sick dogs to the vet

    • buying food, blankets, medicine, and other pet supplies

    • paying for dogs to be placed in foster care (the local fosters can be a bit bleak but better than the streets)

    • supporting existing pet organizations such as Kosovo Pet Rescue

    • and finally: flying dogs to forever homes in the US and Europe
