Inspiration

“It’s the little things that matter, that add up in the end.”

I’ve had the great fortune to live and travel abroad—from Ukraine to Germany to our home in Kosovo, I am grateful for the chance to explore new countries, cultures, and relationships.

Yet throughout all the big moves and big trips, my favorite moments—and greatest inspiration for writing and art—are the smaller, unexpected moments that come with witnessing new places and meeting new people. Whether a conversation I have with a woman selling flowers in Italy or getting stuck in a rainstorm with my Lithuanian cab driver, these smaller everyday connections stay with me and fuel my creativity. As such, travel continues to be one of my main pillars of life and work.
